THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BETTER TIME TO INSTALL RENEWABLES!
That's quite a bold statement but the reason we say this is that you can benefit from a generous government grant installed before 1/4/2010 AND then also get paid for the energy produced under the proposed FEED IN TARIFF next year. There is further information about this in the NPower site which you can reach by clicking here.
There are various government and local authority grants whereby it is possible to obtain up to 100% funding for microgeneration systems. These are detailed below as follows:
Local Authority Grants
Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 1. For further information please click here.
Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 2. For further information please click here.
Community Sustainable Energy Programme (CSEP)
Local Authority Grants
South Gloucestershire are still offering a £500 grant for solar thermal systems, in addition to the £400 national grant, providing a total grant of £900, until March 2010 at least. Further information and an application form can be downloaded by click on this link, here.
